We received an email the other day from a customer who had just finished putting in all-new tile and used dark colored grouting on his floors, but is having a problem after cleanup. He wrote that after he had the grout installed and after cleanup, he noticed that there was a pretty thick, glossy dark colored haze all over his new tiles.
This can happen after freshly putting down grout. During cleanup when you're mopping the mess up, microscopic bits of sediment and cement left over from the grout mix settle on your tile and dry, causing the haze. The best way to get rid of it would be to take a trip out to your local home improvement store and pick up a bottle of Grout Haze Cleanup. That stuff is excellent, it'll pick up any leftover bits of grout mix and cement so your floor will finally be finished and looking great.
We don't own or have anything to do with Grout Haze Cleanup, we've just found that it works very well and recommend it to anyone who has this problem. Hey, not everything has to be about advertising our own products like some other guys, we're just out to help people clean their tile and grout. We've got the knowledge and we're always looking for ways to share it with you!
We at TheGroutCleaningStore wish all of you happy, fun and safe holidays, and we'll see you next year!
